On June 21, German Sinologist Wolfgang Kubin visited the museum with his family. Professor Kubin shared that the primary purpose of this visit was to introduce the museum to his family and to explore the Ohel Moishe Synagogue, which he was unable to enter during last June’s renovations.
During the visit, he inquired about the history of the museum's establishment and its role in promoting cultural exchanges abroad. He also expressed interest in the preservation and utilization of historic buildings around the museum. Upon learning that he planned to explore these surrounding historical sites with his family after the visit, the staff provided him with the map of "Jewish Refugees and Shanghai—Tilanqiao Historical and Cultural District" and gave him detailed introductions to commemorative sites such as the White Horse Café, the Monument in Huoshan Park, and so on.
Before leaving, Kubin wrote a message in the guestbook, "This is my third visit to this place, and it still moves me deeply—despite the sorrow it contains, it remains forever a place of love and hope."

Wolfgang Kubin writes his remarks in the guestbook.
