Director Chen Jian Sends Greetings to Australian Participants of the October Reunion Gathering

On December 15, 2025, Chen Jian, Director of the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum, sent an email to the Australian descendants of Jewish refugees who had come to Shanghai this October to attend the reunion gathering. In the email, Director Chen expressed deep sympathy over the Sydney Bondi Beach tragedy, hoping that the incident had not disrupted their lives and that such tragedies would never happen again.


On the occasion of Hanukkah, he extended his festive wishes for their health and peace to them. Upon receiving this cross-border message, the group responded with gratitude for the care and warmth it had brought at this special moment.
